Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is reportedly expected to miss his second consecutive game in Week 6.

ESPN's Adam Schefter gave an update on Jackson's hamstring injury during an appearance on Get Up Thursday (October 9) morning and said the two-time NFL MVP was trending toward being inactive for the Ravens' game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday (October 12).

"It's not tracking to be this week, right now, unless he somehow makes some surprising turnaround,” Schefter said as transcribed by Bleacher Report. “When the Ravens practiced yesterday, he was not out there due to that hamstring injury that sidelined him last week. Let's keep in mind the Ravens have a bye after this week, so if Jackson doesn't play this week he would get two weeks of rest to rest that ailing hamstring. And it certainly seems like that seems to be the way it is tracking right now."

Schefter later reported that Jackson didn't practice on Thursday. Jackson suffered the hamstring injury during the third quarter of the Ravens' Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and was replaced by veteran backup Cooper Rush, who started in his absence in Week 5 and threw for 179 yards and three interceptions on 14 of 20 passing during a 44-10 home loss to the Houston Texans.

Jackson, a two-time Associated Press NFL MVP, threw for 147 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 14 of 20 passing, while also recording 48 yards on six rushing attempts in Week 4 prior to his injury. The former Heisman Trophy winner has thrown for 869 yards, 10 touchdowns and one interception on 68 of 95 passing, while also recording 166 yards and one touchdown on 21 rushing attempts through his first four games of the 2025 NFL season.
